Tiger Eye Beads 8mm: Round vs Diamond Cut Bracelet Design
Share
Both 8mm tiger eye options have a golden-brown appearance; smooth round beads look understated, while diamond-cut beads have facets that catch light.
What you will make
A warm brown tiger eye stretch bracelet combining smooth and faceted 8mm beads for a subtle texture change.
Materials and tools

Step-by-step instructions
- Inspect both bead styles in daylight. Natural stone colours and markings can vary from bead to bead.
- Choose a design: alternate three smooth beads with one faceted bead, or make the faceted beads the centre accent.
- Measure the wrist and test the elastic through the actual stone bead holes. Stone beads can be heavier than plastic beads, so avoid weak or worn cord.
- Thread your chosen pattern, checking that the facets and bead holes do not abrade the cord.
- Test the strand on the wrist and adjust the count for a comfortable fit before tying.
- Tie and secure the elastic as recommended for that cord. Test the finished bracelet gently, including its knot and stretch recovery.
Before selling your finished piece
Do not promise medical, healing or financial effects from stones. Sell on visible material, size, finish and craftsmanship; check the stone for chips and sharp drill holes.
Quick questions
Are the two styles the same size? Both listings describe 8mm beads, but natural variation and faceting can affect how they sit together. Test a sample.
